No. VoxyOS does not record your screen, track your keystrokes, or build a heatmap of your activity. It listens to a single 2-minute voice dump per day that you send when you choose to send it. Everything we surface is something you said.

No, ever. Audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and deleted the moment the transcription comes back. Your founder reads transcripts. They cannot hear audio. This is a permanent design boundary, not a tier-gated feature.

Nothing punitive. The bot does not pile on. Your day is marked skipped, and your admin sees a count of skipped days across the team. There is no individual callout, no red flag on your name. If you skip every day for a week, your admin notices that pattern. That is the system working, not failing.

VoxyOS asks for: chat:write (to DM you), im:history (to receive your reply), im:write (to open the DM channel), files:read (to fetch your voice file), users:read and users:read.email (to map your Slack identity to your VoxyOS account), team:read (to identify your workspace). No channel scopes. No workspace-wide read access.

Your text and structured data live in Supabase (EU region). Audio is transient and deleted on transcription. LLM calls go to Google Gemini via OpenRouter; the provider does not retain prompts. Transcription goes to OpenAI Whisper; one-shot, no retention. Analytics is PostHog Cloud EU, configured for pageviews plus outbound-link clicks only, no autocapture, no session replay.

Yes. The data is yours. An export is available on request. Email hello@voxyos.com and we will send your workspace data as JSON within 48 hours. A self-serve export UI is on the roadmap.

No. Your logs, OKRs, and conversation data are never used to train public AI models. Cross-tenant training is on our permanent won't-build list. Your workspace is a silo, and stays one.

Voice is faster than typing, and we measure friction in seconds. The teammate can dump a 2-minute update while walking to the kitchen. Typing the same update in Slack takes ten minutes and interrupts deep work. Text is supported too; both modalities map to the same pipeline. The point is the teammate chooses, not the founder.
