Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-05-15
These terms govern your use of VoxyOS. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be readable, not impenetrable.
Definitions
"Company" means Built Ventures LLC, the operator of the VoxyOS service. "Service" means the VoxyOS product, including the web app, Slack bot, and any APIs. "Workspace" means a single customer tenant created in the Service. "Account" means an individual user within a Workspace. "Founder" or "Admin" means an Account with admin role. "Teammate" means an Account with individual-contributor role. "Sub-processor" means a third-party we use to deliver the Service (see the privacy policy).
The service
VoxyOS is a workspace-scoped tool for async team alignment. We provide it as-is during the trial period; the feature set may evolve.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the actions taken under your account. The Founder of a Workspace is responsible for invited members and for the data their team submits.
Acceptable use
No unlawful content. No attempt to circumvent the audio-deletion guarantee or to surveil teammates outside the documented bot interactions. No reverse engineering of the AI pipeline.
Intellectual property
Your content stays yours. Our software stays ours. You grant us a limited license to process your content to run the product features.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will email you about planned maintenance windows.
Billing and trial
The 14-day Sprint Trial is free with no credit card. During the trial period, post-trial billing is handled by email. Once self-serve billing ships, this section will be updated. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charges apply.
Termination
You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@voxyos.com. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law. On termination, we delete your data per § 7 of the privacy policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied, statutory) including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform under these terms when caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, infrastructure outages, or government action.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Entire agreement
These terms plus the privacy policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
Surviving provisions
Sections 5 (Intellectual property), 9 (Disclaimer), 10 (Limitation of liability), 12 (Severability), 13 (Entire agreement), and 15 (Governing law) survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes go to the competent court of that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will email you when we do. Material changes give you a 30-day window to cancel before they take effect.
